Animal Hearts...
- Produces lowest quality product
- Animals bought from store gain hearts at 0.5x speed.
- Animals birthed on an outside farm gain hearts at 1x speed.
- Animals birthed on your farm gain hearts at 1.5x speed.
- Wearing touch gloves will cause your animal to gain hearts at 2x speed.

Positives...
+ Talking = +1 heart per 10 days (in a row)
+ Grooming gives +1 heart per 10 days (in a row)
+ Feeding gives +1 heart per 20 days (in a row)
+ Grazing gives +1 heart per 10 days (in a row) - grasses regrow every 4 days, must have enough grass to withstand through regrowth period. poultry do not lower the grass level (instead they eat the bugs & whatever found in the grass)
+ Playing gives +1 heart per 15 posts (in a row) - must be 200+ words
+ Riding gives +1 heart per 15 posts (in a row) - must be 200+ words
+ Giving birth gives +1 heart for mother & baby(s)
+ Staying with mom gives +1 heart for mother & baby per 30 days (in a row) - until baby reaches 1 year of age.
Negatives...
- Being ignored gives -1 heart per 5 days (in a row) - being inactive will cause your animals to lose hearts & possibly die.
- Not eating gives -1 heart per 2 days (in a row) - can also cause them to get sick.
- Being dirty gives -1 heart per 10 days (in a row) - basically you need to groom your animal at least once every 10 days.
- Being caught in the rain gives -1 heart per 2 days (in a row) - can also cause them to get sick.
- Being sick gives -1 heart per 3 days (in a row) - can also cause death.
- Death of an animal gives -1 heart per animal in your possession.
(If at any point in time your animal loses a heart, you cannot collect their byproduct until 1 full day of proper treatment passes; in other words you can't collect on day one of losing a heart but on day two you can collect - unless the animal is sick, then you must wait until after the animal gets better, about 1 day, AND the time it takes to recover from a lost heart)
