Q: How many real life days are equivalent to one in-game day?
A: I have had a previous HM site and it seemed that people wanted more time to complete their activities. This site will have ten real days per every game day.
Q: Do I have to leave a social thread if the day changes?
A: No, you don't have to leave your thread. No new characters can join a thread after the game day has changed though.
Q: What jobs are available?
A: All jobs are listed here. Jobs such as stoneman, lumberjacks, ranchers, etc. are not jobs done solely by one person. There can be multiple characters for each of those jobs.
Q: Can I make a supernatural character or play the Harvest Goodess?
A: Any of the NPC characters such as the Harvest Goodess or the Witch of Decay will be role played by staff. I may in the future see if certain members would like to tryout for these roles, but as of now there is no option for that. As for supernatural beings, this is forbidden.
Q: What happens if someone who owns a ranch or the blacksmith, etc. goes inactive?
A: This site strives to be an active forum. This is needed for roles such as a doctor, blacksmith, carpenter, veterinarian, etc. especially. Should someone become inactive (not posting in activity check or is gone for more than 2 weeks without notice), their posts will be archived and their character removed from anything that they own. Money will be restored for purchased buildings, etc. if the person returns to the site and can be repurchased if someone else has not already claimed it since their inactivity.
Q: Can my character start off with a pet?
A: No. If they need a service animal there are dogs available at the pet shop and we can make an exception to say that they were trained to be a service animal - just contact a staff member.
Q: I want a job that's not on the job list. What should I do?
A: Let the staff know what profession you would like. We are continuing to add new things all the time so more than likely we can add the position in for you.
Q: My post hasn't been modded in a few days. What do I do?
A: : Please make sure that you tag "NPC Account "@npcaccountin the posts you wish to be modded. With all of the modded posts out there, unless I have a list of who needs what in my profile, it will be difficult to look for each post that needs a response. When a post moderator comes onto the staff team, you will be assigned either me (Tessa Meadows ) or the moderator for all of your posts but they will all be posted from the NPC Account.
