The Rules

General

- When registering, please modify your display name to be your character name. (Ex. no names like horseluver123, etc.)

- Be kind and respectful. This was a child's game. There's no need to get violent or use bad language. ^_~

- Minimum word count is 100 words. This is non-negotiable. If your post does not meet the requirements you will be asked to modify your post. If your post is not changed it will be locked and you will be unable to continue role play until it has been corrected.

- You will need to put the date and year at the top right hand corner of your posts so that we know which day you are on. If you are stuck in a posting during say Spring 4 and then it turns to Spring 5, you can start posts for the next day with that date at the top and finish off your Spring 4 threads.

- Inactivity of 2 weeks will result in first a PM to notify you that you are in danger of losing all assets that your character owns. You must post with your character within a week of this PM or all assets will be reclaimed and your account will be removed from the forum. We strive to keep everyone active and engaged! Please let us know if you are leaving on vacation and need your character to be "frozen". PM Tessa Meadows or other staff.

Seasons

- Game days will be 10 real days long. This is so that people are able to have ample time to post and do whatever they want each day. This is in regards to crops, fishing, lumber, etc. that are reset each day. Social threads can go on as long as you'd like but additional people can not enter the thread unless it is still the same day the thread was started.

- Only certain crops grow during each season. There is a crop guide book located here: Crop Guidebook

- Festivals are also seasonal. Check the calendar for when festivals are.

Character

- Every character will start off with 20,000G.

- You will only receive your job's income if you were online during that day and posted at least once.

- Not all characters will own a ranch. There are currently 9 total locations for ranches. If you don't live on a ranch, you can purchase an apartment, house, rent from someone, etc. but you must live somewhere.

- This is a somewhat realistic role play, so please use logic when posting. Limit the amount of threads that you are in to 2.

- You can have up to two characters if you can keep them both active. You must list your other character's name in your application and in your signature block. Each must have their own account.

- Each character will begin with their choice of tool to start off with. Your choices of tools are:

Axe (Copper)
Hammer (Copper)
Hoe (Copper)
Sickle (Copper)
Watering Can (Copper)
Fishing Pole (Copper)
Bug Net (Copper)

Modded Areas

- Modded areas are places that staff will control what happens (by a random roll). These are things such as finding wild animals, finding items, how many materials are harvested, etc.

- You can not discover animals, items, etc. on your own. Staff will reply with what you have found. Please tag your assigned staff member in your post to get the quickest response.

- Aside from searching for items, you can go to the modded areas to just role play with other characters. If you wish to have no mod replies (ie random happenings), put NM in the title meaning No Mod.
